Again, a beautiful sunny day – so we decided to explore our neighborhood and Soho a little more. We started off at Union Square where we explored the Greenmarket and walked up to Madison Square Park.
Later we changed directions and went south to gaze at the amazing iron cast buildings in SOHO and do some window shopping at the small boutiques. For lunch we had a healthy bowl, New York Style.
In the evening, we met with our first acquaintances in New York – our broker Martin and his girlfriend Elana! Martin invited us to the Classic Car Club Manhattan. The Club offers members, who pay a monthly fee, to rent some pretty exclusive new and restored cars (e.g. 1965 Ford GT40, 2018 Porsche 911 GT3, 1996 Porsche 993 C4S, McLaren MP4). We had drinks and some delicious snacks on a beautiful terrace right by the Hudson, while observing the sun disappearing behind the Hudson. The rest of the night we spent admiring some pretty impressive cars and having some more drinks.
